One day, Jennifer's mother's partner Fred was brainstorming nicknames for Andrew. Our last name is Gonzalez, hence Gonzo. When Jennifer was first brainstorming business plans and knitting items by request via word-of-mouth (or is it word-of-finger?) on the Livejournal clothdiapering community, her original idea was to stick solely to knit pants-style diaper covers (known as longies). Andy's Pants was already taken, and she remembered Fred's silly nickname, thus GonzoPants was born. Over time, customer and proprietor creativity boomed and we became more than just longies. We now offer hats, headbands, cardigans, dolls, pants, wetbags, mittens, booties, and more. If you don't see what you're looking for, ask us. Chances are, if it can be knit (or crochet!), we'll figure out a way to make it for you.
