We found this knit butterfly motif in Nicky Epstein's Knitting over the Edge and immediately begain swatching with some stash yarn. The result was a row of fanciful butterflies on a bed of reverse-stockinette stitch that quickly became this hat. Knit with 100% wool, in nearly any color imaginable, Flutterby warms Baby's head while butterflies encircle the brim, adding just the right touch of "girly."
